Once upon a time there was a boy named Wabby. He was a bright and cheerful 10-year-old who was always eager to learn new things. He had a very kind and loving heart and was always willing to help others.
One day, Wabby was out playing in the park when he noticed a little yellow bird fluttering around. He was so captivated by the beauty of the bird that he just couldn’t help but try to capture it. Wabby was so determined to catch the bird that he ran after it for what felt like hours until at last, he finally managed to grab it!
In his excitement, Wabby forgot all about the park and took the bird home with him. As soon as Wabby got home, he placed the bird in a glass cage and started to take care of it. He filled the cage with fresh water and food, as well as some nice soft feathers in order to make the bird feel comfortable.
But no matter how hard he tried, Wabby just could not seem to get the bird to come out of its cage and play. He waited and waited for days, but the bird just stayed inside the cage.
One day, when Wabby was feeling particularly discouraged, he opened the cage and stuck his hand inside in order to try to coax the bird out. As soon as he did this, the bird gladly flew out of the cage and flew around the room, chirping with joy.
At that moment, Wabby realized that the bird needed a freedom that he could not provide it with the cage. So, he opened the window and set the bird free, watching as it flew away happily into the sky.
The moral of the story is that no matter how much we love and care for others, we must always remember that they also have their own freedom and independence that we cannot take away or control. It is important to recognize when someone needs their space, and give it to them without question.
