Once upon a time, there lived a boy called Donny. Donny was a very naughty and mischievous child. He always found ways of getting around the rules laid by his parents and teachers. Donny’s parents, who were both doctors, were worried about his unruly behavior, but they did not know how to deal with it.

One day, Donny’s parents took him to the beach for a picnic. He was so excited to be able to spend some time outside. On his way to the beach, he found a beautiful seashell. He wanted to keep it as a souvenir, but his father advised him not to do so. According to him, it would be disrespectful to take away something that came from nature and belonged to all.

But Donny was too excited about the shell and did not want to listen. He picked it up, put it in his pocket, and hid it from his parents. His parents were disappointed but did not scold him. They were aware of Donny’s mischief, and this was one of the ways of teaching him about responsibility.

When Donny came back home, he put his shell on the table and started to examine it. He was so amazed by its beauty that he decided to keep it forever. But a few days later, the shell disappeared. Donny felt so sad, angry and frustrated. He did not know where it went and he realized that he had made a mistake by not listening to his parents’ advice.

Donny had to learn a very important lesson that day – some things are irreplaceable and can never be taken back. The shell was one of them. He had made a mistake by taking it away without understanding its significance. We must always respect nature, consider the feelings of others, and assess our actions before taking any decision. Only then can we avoid making mistakes that cannot be remedied.

Moral of the story – Irresponsible actions lead to irrevocable consequences. The wise man learns from his mistakes and makes sure not to repeat them.
