Once upon a time there lived a young boy named Trin. He was a very cheerful and friendly kid who had a big heart, but sometimes he was too curious for his own good.

One day, Trin was walking through the woods in his neighborhood, looking for something to explore. He stumbled upon a lake and decided to take a closer look. As Trin got closer to the lake, he noticed a little boat in the water. He thought it was strange that a boat would be out in the middle of the woods.

Trin waded into the water, and before he knew it, he was in the boat and rowing out into the lake. Trin was having a great time, until he looked up and realized that the sun was setting and he was lost.

Trin was terrified and began to cry. He knew he was too far out to make it back to shore before dark. Then, suddenly, he heard a voice in the distance. It was a wise old man shouting from the shore, “Trin, come back in!”

Trin was so relieved that someone had heard him and was coming to help him. He rowed as fast as he could, and when he reached the shore, the old man took him by the hand and said, “I know you won’t want to do this again, so let me give you a valuable lesson.”

The old man went on to explain that it was dangerous for Trin to go out into the lake without an adult present. He taught Trin the importance of being aware of his surroundings and being responsible for his own safety.

Trin was so grateful for the old man’s help and wisdom. He thanked the old man and promised to never be so careless again.

From then on, every time Trin felt tempted to explore something new, he remembered the wise old man’s words and used caution before taking any risks. He knew that his own safety was more important than his curiosity.

Moral: Be careful and aware of your surroundings in order to protect yourself.
