Once upon a time, there lived a little girl named Thixolabile. Thixolabile was an adventurous and brave girl who lived in a small village in South Africa.

Her family was poor but still managed to live a decent life. Thixolabile was always smiling and eager to learn new things. Her favorite past time was playing outside in the fields and exploring the unknown.

One day, Thixolabile woke up and decided to go explore the nearby forest. She had heard from her older brothers how wonderful the forest was, but none of them had ever explored it. Without hesitation, Thixolabile set off for the forest.

A few hours later, Thixolabile reached the forest’s entrance. She stood there in awe of its beauty; tall trees, lush green grass, and a light mist in the air. But as she ventured further in, she soon realised that the forest was much bigger than she expected and much scarier too.

As she ventured further, she heard a loud noise. It was an unfamiliar sound and it scared Thixolabile. She didn’t know what it was and she was too scared to investigate it. So, she slowly backed away and tried to find her way out of the forest.

But suddenly, she felt something pull at her leg. She looked down and saw a small monkey clinging onto her leg. The monkey was scared too and it was holding onto Thixolabile for safety.

Thixolabile was kind hearted and so she picked up the monkey and decided to take it home with her. She was sure her family would love it and take care of it.

Thixolabile and the monkey made it back to her village safely. Her family welcomed the monkey with open arms and they named him Lolo. From that day, Thixolabile and Lolo became the best of friends.

Through her adventures, Thixolabile learned that it’s important to always have courage and never give up, no matter how scared. Even in the darkest moments, courage will pull you through.
