Once upon a time, in a far away kingdom, there lived a young boy named John. John was a curious and adventurous young lad and had an affinity for chemistry. In his spare time, he liked collecting all sorts of interesting substances and experimenting with them in various ways.
One day, John came across a strange substance, it was a tetrachloride. He was mesmerised by its colour and decided to bring it back home to experiment. His parents were a bit worried when they saw him carrying this unknown substance, but they knew that their son was intelligent and was careful when handling things.
The next day, John started to experiment with the tetrachloride. He created a mixture by mixing other chemicals and tried to see what would happen. He was so excited to see the reaction that he failed to realize the potential danger that he had put himself in.
The tetrachloride was unstable, and when John added the other chemicals, it caused a violent reaction that created a large, toxic gas cloud. John was caught in the cloud and quickly passed out from the fumes.
Luckily, John was rescued and taken to the hospital. He was in a coma for a few days, but luckily he recovered and was able to go home. His parents, who had been so worried about him, were relieved.
John learnt an important lesson from his experience and that was that some things are best left to the experts. He also learnt that he should always be careful and not take risks with unknown substances.
Moral: Curiosity is commendable, but be careful when experimenting with unknown substances.
