Once upon a time there was a young boy named Subrident, who lived in a small village in a far off land. He was kind, gentle, and always willing to help anyone in need. When he wasn’t helping out his family, he was often out exploring the nearby forests and meadows with his best friend, a small white rabbit named Spot.

One day, while out on one of their adventures, Spot and Subrident came across a small village in the middle of the forest. They decided to explore the village and see what they could find.

After a while, they came across an old man sitting in front of an old building. When they approached the old man, he asked them why they had come there. Subrident told him that he and Spot were just out exploring and wanted to see what the village was like.

The old man laughed and said, “Ah, this village is not a safe place for a young boy and his rabbit friend. You should go back to the safety of your home.” Subrident was disappointed, but he thanked the old man for his advice and began to leave.

But before he had a chance to get very far, the old man called him back and asked, “If you are willing, I have a task for you.” The old man needed help to rebuild the old building. He said it had been used as a place to keep safe and important knowledge, but it had been destroyed by a magical force.

The old man said he couldn’t do it alone, but if Subrident was willing to help, he could have a large reward at the end. Subrident was eager to help and the old man gave him the materials and instructions he needed.

Subrident worked hard and managed to rebuild the building within a few months. When he finished, the old man was incredibly grateful and gave Subrident a large reward. Subrident thanked the old man and gave half of the reward to Spot, so that he wouldn’t feel left out.

The old man smiled at Subrident’s kind gesture and said, “I know that you could have chosen to ignore my request and gone about your own adventures. But you chose to help me and I am very grateful. You have taught me a valuable lesson: when someone needs help, you should always be willing to lend a hand.”

Moral of the story: It is always important to be willing to help others when they need it.
