Once upon a time, there lived a little shrill. He was always making noise, never quiet. Everyone around him preferred to keep the peace, so they often told him to be quiet, and he was usually very compliant.

One day, Shrill heard a faraway voice. He followed the voice and eventually found its source: a small pond. On the edge of the pond, a beautiful bluebird was singing. The bird’s song was so sweet and peaceful, and it filled Shrill with joy.

He tried to call out to the bird but, as soon as he opened his mouth, the bird flew away. Determined to hear the bird’s song again, Shrill decided to practice his singing.

Day and night, he tried to imitate the bird’s beautiful melody. He made a lot of noises, but he remained discouraged; none of his attempts sounded anything like the bird’s song.

But then, one day, he finally got it. His voice sounded just like the bird’s, and he was filled with joy. He decided to keep practicing, determined to make his singing even better.

Soon enough, other birds began to gather around the pond. Each time Shrill sang, the birds sang with him. Eventually, his singing had improved so much that he was no longer just a shrill, he had become a songbird himself!

Moral: With persistence and hard work, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
