Once upon a time there lived a young boy named Samisen. He was very kind and full of adventure. He lived with his parents in a small village on the outskirts of the city.

One day, his parents decided to take a trip to the city. They asked Samisen to stay at home and take care of the house. Samisen was not too happy about it but he agreed.

That day, he decided to explore the village. On his way, he came across an old man selling a very peculiar looking instrument. It was a samisen. Samisen was intrigued and asked the man about the instrument. The man explained to him that it was an ancient Japanese instrument made from three parts – a neck, a bridge, and a body. Samisen was fascinated and asked the man if he could play the samisen.

The old man was more than happy to teach him how to play it. He explained the different parts of the samisen to him and taught him how to use the plectrum to strum the strings. Samisen was excited and he took the instrument home with him.

Every day, Samisen would practice the samisen. He soon got good at playing the instrument and started to perform in the village square. All the villagers were amazed to see a young boy play the samisen as if he was trained since birth.

As time passed by, Samisen began to take his skill in music very seriously and he decided to take it up professionally. He started to learn more about the history and culture of samisen music. He even joined a music school to further his musical skills.

As Samisen’s musical career progressed, he started to perform in gatherings, festivals, and other events. He even started to receive invitations from music schools and theatres in the city.

One day, Samisen was asked to perform in the city’s largest festival. He was nervous but excited at the same time. He was determined to make the most out of this opportunity but he was also scared of not living up to the expectations.

However, Samisen was determined to do his best and put in all the effort and practice he had done. When it was time to perform, the audience was amazed by his skill. They applauded his performance and he received an ovation from the crowd.

The moral of this story is that hard work and determination always pays off. No matter how scared one is of failing, it is important to remember that with commitment and passion, one can always achieve their dreams. Samisen’s story is the perfect example of this.
