Once upon a time, there was a precocious little boy named Tom. Tom was very curious and always interested in learning new things. He loved to explore his environment and often asked his parents a lot of questions.

One day, Tom’s father brought home a new laptop computer for him. Tom was so excited! He watched his father carefully as he worked to install the necessary software on the computer. He tried to remember all of the instructions that his father was giving him.

Once all of the software was installed, Tom eagerly took the laptop to his room and sat down with it. He was ready to explore everything this powerful machine had to offer. He clicked through the menus, exploring everything from the web browser to a number of different games.

Tom was having a lot of fun with the computer, but he soon realized that he needed a little help. He wished he could remember all of the instructions his father had given him when he was preinstalling the software. But Tom had forgotten most of the instructions he had been given.

Tom was frustrated, but he figured it was just a matter of time before he figured out how to do things. He decided he would just keep experimenting with the computer and eventually he’d figure out how to do what he wanted to do.

Tom eventually did figure out how to do many of the things he wanted to do on the computer, but it took him much longer than it would have if he had remembered all of the instructions his father had given him when preinstalling the software.

The moral of the story is that it’s important to pay attention and remember instructions. Even though it may not seem important at the time, remembering the instructions can help save a lot of time and frustration in the future.
