Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Peter who lived in a small village with his father and mother. His parents doted on him and loved him very much, but they were very poor and so could not afford to give him everything he wanted.

One day, his mother asked him to go to the nearby forest and gather some firewood. Peter was excited and eagerly set off. As he walked through the forest, he was fascinated by the beauty of the trees and plants. He started picking up a few twigs here and there, when he noticed something glittering from beneath a bush. He bent down and discovered a shiny golden coin.

Peter was overjoyed and instantly thought about all the nice things he could buy for himself with the money. But then, he remembered his mother’s words about being honest and kind to others. He thought about how his parents were so poor and how he wanted to help them. So, instead of spending the money on himself, he decided to do something noble.

He took the coin back home and told his father what had happened. His father was touched by his son’s honesty and courage. He took the coin and gave it to a needy family in the village, who were in even worse financial condition than they were.

The family was so grateful and thanked them profusely. Peter’s parents praised him for his selflessness and said that it was a lesson for him to always think about others before himself.

The moral of the story is that selflessness and kindness will always be rewarded in the end. It’s important to remember that when we do something nice for someone else, it will always come back to us in some way or another.
