Once upon a time, there lived a young boy, who was called Monticoline. He was a happy-go-lucky kid who loved playing all sorts of games and was always eager to explore the world. His parents, eager to encourage their son’s adventurous spirit, decided to take him on an unforgettable journey to a small mountain village, situated on the slopes of an old volcano.

They reached the village in no time, and as soon as Monticoline saw the stunning landscape, his eyes sparkled with joy. The village was beautifully adorned with colorful flowers and tall trees, with bright stars twinkling in the night sky and the peaceful sound of a distant stream in the background. With so much to explore, Monticoline couldn’t wait to get started.

He roamed around the village, delighting in the mesmerizing sights and sounds, feeling a strange and mysterious connection to the place. As he looked around, he noticed a group of children playing in the meadow at the edge of the village. He went over to them and introduced himself, and they gladly welcomed him into their group with open arms.

The children were so engrossed in their games that they didn’t pay attention to the time passing. Before they knew it, it started to get dark and their parents called out to them to come home. While the other kids were running back home, Monticoline stopped to pick a few of the beautiful wildflowers that he had been admiring all day.

Unfortunately, it was already too dark for him to find his way back to the village. Monticoline started to panic, but then he heard a faint voice whispering to him, “Don’t worry, just follow the sound of my chime.” He looked around in confusion but couldn’t see anyone. Suddenly he heard a faint clinking noise in the distance and realized it was the same sound he had heard earlier.

He followed the sound, and soon he found a beautiful old windmill that was emitting a pleasant chime in the night. Mesmerized, Monticoline stepped closer to it and noticed that the chimes were coming from a bell inside the windmill. Feeling safe and content, he decided to take shelter there for the night.

The next morning when it was light, Monticoline found his way back to the village and his parents. When they asked him where he had been all night, he simply said that the windmill had provided him with a warm shelter. But when his parents asked him why he had been gone for so long, he realized the lesson he had learned from this experience—that it is important to always be aware of your surroundings and take the right decisions no matter what.

The moral of the story is that it is important to be aware of your own safety and be mindful of your decisions when you’re in unfamiliar places. Monticoline’s story teaches us that being brave does not always mean being reckless. We should always strive to make the right decisions no matter what the situation.
