Once upon a time there lived a young boy called Lollardlike in a small village. He was bright, cheerful and always smiling. All the villagers loved him dearly, but the elders of the village could not understand his seemingly careless attitude. Lollardlike never seemed to take anything seriously and he never did his chores like the other children.

One day, the elders decided to give Lollardlike a task to prove his worth. They wanted him to take care of a large flock of goats that had been grazing in the hills around the village. Lollardlike was excited to have a task of his own, and he set off at once to look after the goats.

However, Lollardlike soon realised that this was not going to be an easy task. The goats were wild and unruly, and Lollardlike had to spend hours each day trying to round them up and keep them away from the crops of the villagers.

One day, while on his task, Lollardlike stumbled upon a meadow full of wildflowers. He had never seen such a sight before and was overwhelmed with joy and happiness. As he was admiring the beauty of the flowers, one of the goats broke free and started grazing on the crops of the villagers.

Lollardlike was filled with guilt and he decided to do something to atone for his mistake. He promised himself that he would take better care of the goats and that he would never let them graze on the villagers’ crops again.

From that day onwards, Lollardlike devoted himself completely to his task. He would wake up early every morning to round up the goats and guide them carefully away from the crops of the villagers.

The elders of the village were surprised to see the change in Lollardlike and they were proud of him for his hard work and dedication. With time, Lollardlike’s behaviour and attitude towards his task changed and he started taking everything more seriously.

The moral of the story is that hard work and dedication can help us achieve great things in life. Nothing is impossible if we put our minds and hearts into it.
