Once upon a time there lived a young boy named Raj. He was the son of a farmer and had to help him in his daily chores. Raj used to be very energetic and enthusiastic about helping his father in the farm. Despite being so energetic, Raj had this feeling of being stuck in a mundane cycle of doing the same thing day in and day out. He was desperate for a break and so when he heard about a marathon competition he was sure he wanted to participate.
The day of the competition arrived and Raj was ready to give his best. Before he left, his father encouraged him to keep his head held high and strive for success. Raj was determined to make his father proud and ran with all of his might. He was already at the top of the leaderboard by the time they reached the halfway point of the race.
Just as Raj was about to cross the finish line, he stumbled upon a small stream and couldn’t help but stop for a few minutes to admire its beauty. He was soon joined by a group of children who had come to swim and play in the stream. Raj watched them with a smile on his face, as they laughed and splashed around in the water, seemingly free from all worries of the world.
For a few moments, he felt like he too was free and unencumbered. The feeling was so invigorating that he wanted to stay in that moment forever. But soon, he had to move on, for the competition was still going on and he had to finish it.
Raj ran with a new vigour and enthusiasm. He had forgotten all about the competition and just felt like he was running for the sheer joy of it. He felt alive, almost like he was flying. The feeling was so invigorating that he crossed the finishing line with a huge smile. He had won the competition and his father was proud of him.
The experience of feeling so alive and invigorated through running was something that Raj had never imagined. He now understood the importance of taking a break every now and then and experiencing something new. It was a rejuvenating feeling that could keep one motivated and inspired.
The moral of this story is that taking a break from your regular routine can be extremely beneficial in the long run. By taking a break and doing something that makes you feel alive and invigorated, you can gain a renewed enthusiasm and vigour to tackle any challenge.
