Once upon a time, there lived a young boy named Imperator. Imperator was a very industrious and ambitious child, and he always strived to achieve more in life than any of his peers. Every day, Imperator would wake up early, get dressed and immediately go outside to start on his mission for the day.
One day, Imperator encountered an old and wise man who was sitting on a bench. The wise man smiled at him and said, “My dear child, I admire your ambition and energy. Where are you heading on such a bright morning?”
Imperator told the old man that he was on his way to the market to sell some vegetables in order to make some extra money. The wise man then asked him a rather puzzling question, “What will you do with this money?”
Imperator thought for a while and replied, “I want to use the money to buy some books so that I can increase my knowledge and become a wise man like you.”
The old man was pleased with Imperator’s answer and said, “My dear boy, the most important lesson to learn in life is that knowledge is power. Knowledge is something that no one can ever take away from you, so it’s important to constantly strive to increase your wisdom.”
Impressed by the teachings of the wise man, Imperator thanked him and continued on his way to the market. He worked hard that day and managed to sell all of his vegetables.
After coming back from the market, Imperator was pleased to find that the wise man was still waiting for him on the bench. He thanked Imperator for taking his advice and said, “My dear boy, knowledge is the most valuable asset in life and no matter what situation you find yourself in, it will always remain yours.”
Moral: Knowledge is the most powerful asset in life and no one can ever take it away from you. It is important to constantly seek knowledge and use it to propel yourself to greater heights.
