Once upon a time there lived a little boy named John. John was a cheerful and bright little boy who lived near a pleasant forest with his family. His parents had taught him the importance of being thankful for all the blessings that he had in life and the joys of sharing with those in need.
John loved the forest and often went for walks there with his parents. One day, while on a walk, John came across a small tree bearing beautiful birds’ nests. He was so excited to see them that he couldn’t help but take a closer look.
Unfortunately, while John was admiring the nests, he accidentally disturbed one of them, causing some of the eggs to fall to the ground. He felt terrible and his heart sank.
John immediately started picking up the fallen eggs, hoping to save the little birds. He carefully placed them back in the nest and was relieved to see that all of the eggs were intact.
John then decided to share his joy with others, so he picked some of the fallen eggs and took them home to give to his family. Everyone was surprised and overjoyed to receive such a wonderful gift. They thanked John for his thoughtfulness and kindness.
At that moment, John realised the importance of being thankful for the little things in life and how giving to others can brighten someone’s day. He had learned an important lesson about being glad for what he had and the joy of sharing his blessings.
The moral of the story is that we should be grateful for all that we have, spread kindness to others and enjoy the small pleasures in life. Appreciating the little things makes us realise how truly fortunate we are and can bring years of joy and gladfulness.
