Once upon a time, there was a little kid named Jack who lived in a small village. He was the only child in the village and the villagers were always trying to make him feel special. Jack was loved by everyone in the village and he always had a smile on his face.
One day, Jack was out playing and he stumbled upon a large rock. When he looked closer he saw that the rock was actually an egg. He was so excited and couldn’t wait to show everyone back in the village what he had found. He carefully picked up the egg and brought it home.
When Jack showed the villagers the egg, they were all very impressed. Everyone wanted to be the first to see what was inside the egg. So they decided to hold a contest. The first person to break the egg open would be rewarded with a prize.
Jack was the first person to take a crack at breaking the egg open. He was so excited to be the first one to break it and have a chance at winning the prize. Everyone cheered him on as he took a swing at the egg, but unfortunately he was not successful. He had tried so hard, but he just couldn’t seem to break the egg open.
One by one, other villagers stepped up to try their luck at breaking the egg open. But none of them were successful either.
Frustrated and disappointed, everyone decided to give up. That is, until a wise old man stepped forward. He told them not to give up and that sometimes it takes a different approach to get the job done. He then handed Jack a hammer and said, “Jack, my boy, I believe in you. Give it one more try and I’m sure you can do it.”
Encouraged by the old man’s words, Jack took the hammer and the next day he was able to break the egg open. Everyone was so amazed and they all cheered with joy.
Inside the egg was a beautiful little bird with blue feathers. Everyone in the village was overjoyed. Jack was awarded the prize, but he chose to give it to the old man as a token of appreciation for helping him find the courage and strength he needed to break the egg open.
The moral of the story is that it is important to remain persistent and have faith in yourself. No matter how hard a task may seem, if you have the right attitude and determination, you will be successful.
