Once upon a time, there was a young boy named Erythematous. He was an enigma, often described as “strange” and “odd”. He was never seen with a smile and his eyes always seemed distant and far away. Erythematous was always in his own little world and never bothered to interact with the people around him.

One day, Erythematous was walking down the street when he stumbled across an old man begging for food. The old man was weak and frail, his clothes were tattered and he had a look of desperation in his eyes. Although Erythematous had never felt the urge to intervene in a situation before, something about the old man’s plight struck a chord within him and he was determined to help the old man in some way.

Erythematous ran home and grabbed the few coins he had saved up over the years in order to buy the old man some food. He ran back to the poor man and handed him the coins, then sat down beside him and watched as he ate. To his surprise, the old man began to cry, telling Erythematous that he had been hungry for days and there were few who would take pity on someone like him. Erythematous was moved by the old man’s story and felt a newfound appreciation for life and the value of helping others.

The next day, Erythematous continued to help the old man, ensuring he had enough food to last the day and looked after him until the old man was strong enough to take care of himself. After a few weeks, the old man was finally able to get back on his feet and thanked Erythematous for his kindness. Erythematous was filled with joy and felt a newfound purpose in life. He had discovered the power of kindness and realized that by helping others, he could have a meaningful impact on the world.

The moral of the story is that kindness has the power to change lives and that no matter how small your contribution may seem, it can make a difference in someone’s life. Erythematous’ story is a reminder to never underestimate the power of kindness and to never be afraid to reach out and make a difference in the world.
