Although Sammy was very passionate about art, his family couldn’t afford to send him to a prestigious art school. But that didn’t stop him from honing his creative skills. He spent countless hours practicing and studying different techniques in draughtsmanship.

One day, Sammy saw an advertisement for a contest in which the grand prize was a scholarship to a prestigious art college. Immediately, he knew he had to try to enter his work. He spent weeks perfecting his drawing, determined to make it the best piece he had ever made.

At last, he was ready to submit his contest entry. He took it to a local gallery and filled out the necessary paperwork. Then, he nervously waited for the results to come in.

Months passed with no word from the gallery. Sammy became increasingly discouraged and resigned himself to the fact that he didn’t have what it took to win the scholarship.
