Once there was a little boy, named Jack, who lived with his parents in the countryside. Jack’s family was quite poor and they never had much money, so they had to make do with what they had.

One day, Jack’s parents decided to buy him a gift – a cot! Jack was so excited, he couldn’t wait to try it out. When he did, he couldn’t believe how comfortable it was. All night he slept peacefully in his new cot, dreaming of adventures and exploring new places.

The next morning, Jack rushed downstairs to show his parents his cot. They were so proud of how comfortable Jack was and pleased to see how much better he had been sleeping at night.

After that, Jack found that his cot gave him the comfort and safety he needed. Whenever he was feeling sad or scared, he would climb into his cot and close his eyes. It was like a refuge to him, and he used it to escape the troubles of the world and find peace.

But one day, tragedy struck. Jack’s family had to move away and they had to leave the cot behind. Jack was heartbroken, but he was determined not to forget the comfort and safety the cot had provided.

As he left and said goodbye to the cot, he remembered something his father had told him – “No matter what, never forget the comfort of your cot.” Jack took that advice with him, and it stayed in his heart for many years.

As Jack grew older, he realized that his father’s advice wasn’t about the cot – it was about staying strong and finding comfort in difficult times. He knew that no matter what happened, he could always look back on the comfort the cot had given him and get through it.

The moral of this story is that no matter what, remember the comfort and safety of the times you experienced it, and use it to get through tough times.
