Once upon a time, there was a young girl named Choana. She lived in a small village near the river and was the only child of the family. Her parents were poor farmers and struggled to make ends meet. Despite the hardships, Choana was a very excited and curious girl.
One day, Choana was exploring near the river when she spotted something strange. She noticed an old abandoned boat, perched precariously on the shore. The boat had been neglected for years and looked almost forgotten.
Choana was intrigued by the boat and decided to take it out for a ride. She gathered her courage and set off, despite her parents’ warnings. She was sure that nothing bad could happen in her small village.
As she paddled the boat down the river, the sun was setting and the sky was turning a beautiful orange colour. Choana was filled with an unexplainable feeling of joy and freedom as she cut through the waters. For the first time in her life, she felt she could do anything.
As she rounded a bend in the river, Choana suddenly heard a loud sound, like a trumpet echoing through the air. She stopped paddling and listened closely. It was an elephant and it was heading towards her boat. Choana grabbed her oars and began to paddle as fast as she could, but the elephant was getting closer.
Just when Choana thought it was all over, the elephant stopped. It looked at her with gentle eyes and then gracefully retreated back into the jungle.
Choana was filled with relief and awe. She realized that if she had not listened to her parents’ warnings and taken the boat out of the river, she might never have seen the majestic elephant.
From then on, Choana knew that it was important to listen to her parents and never to take unnecessary risks. This experience taught her to trust her instincts and be brave but also reminded her of the importance of following rules and respecting authority.
The moral of the story is that it is important to be brave and trust your instincts, but also important to respect authority and follow the rules. Taking unnecessary risks can lead to dangerous and unpredictable situations.
