Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Maria who lived in a small village. Maria had always dreamed of flying, but her village was too small for her to even imagine flying in it.
One day, Maria was playing in the village square when a flash of red caught her eye. Looking up, she saw a beautiful cardinal flying high above her head. She watched as the bird gracefully soared in circles and loops, flitting from one tree to the next. Maria had never seen a bird fly so high and so gracefully.
She thought to herself, “If I could only fly like that, I could go anywhere!” She watched the cardinal until it finally flew out of sight.
The next day, Maria went out in search of the cardinal. She walked for hours, but eventually she found him. She watched as the cardinal flew from tree to tree, and decided to try and follow him. She ran as fast as she could, but the cardinal only flew faster. Maria was getting tired and frustrated, but she kept running.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity to Maria, she got close enough to the cardinal to touch him. As she reached out to touch his wings, the cardinal flew away, leaving Maria alone in the forest.
Maria was disappointed, but realized that she had learned something – if you dream big and never give up, you can achieve anything.
When Maria got back home, she gathered all her friends and told them her story. They decided to create a village rule – if you dream big and never give up, you can achieve anything.
From then on, Maria and her friends always kept in their hearts the lessons they had learned from the cardinal. No matter how small their dreams may be, they never gave up and eventually they would achieve them.
The moral of the story is that it’s important to never give up on your dreams, no matter how lofty they may seem. With hard work and dedication, you can achieve anything.
