Once upon a time, there was a talented young boy named Add. He had a passion for music, and from a young age, he dreamed of becoming a great bandsman one day. He practiced diligently, spending hours day after day learning how to play the mellow notes of a flute, the deep rumble of a bass drum, and the gentle plucking of a guitar.

Add was a natural musician, and it didn’t take long for him to become an accomplished bandsman. He grew popular in the local community, and soon began performing at school assemblies, street festivals, and other events. Everyone was charmed by his skill and the beautiful music he could make.

One day, Add’s mother arranged a special gig for him at the town hall. Everyone was in a festive mood and excited to hear the music he was about to play. But as Add took his place on the stage, he suddenly realized that he had left his instrument back at home!

Add panicked and felt like the world was crashing down around him. He didn’t know what to do. He had worked so hard to get to this point, and now he was going to let everyone down. In a desperate attempt to find a solution, Add remembered an old bandsman in town who owned a music shop.

At the shop, the old man greeted Add warmly and saw the look of despair on the young boy’s face. He offered to lend Add a flute so he could play his gig at the town hall. Add thanked the old man profusely, took the instrument, and quickly ran back to the gig.

The audience cheered as Add finished his performance, and he was relieved and grateful to have been able to play his gig. Afterwards, Add thanked the old bandsman for lending him the flute and promised to return it soon.

But, without a penny to his name, Add didn’t know how he was going to pay the old man back. Add worked hard over the next few weeks, doing odd jobs and using whatever money he could make to try and save up enough to repay the kind musician.

Eventually, Add was able to pay the old bandsman back, and thanked him from the bottom of his heart for his kindness. The old man smiled, patted Add on the shoulder, and said, “You are a talented young man, and I’m sure you’ll go far in life. Always remember that kindness can go a long way and that you should return it when you are able to.”

Add was deeply moved by this words and went on to become a successful bandsman. He remembered the old man’s words, and whenever he was in a position to do so, paid his kindness forward to others.

MORAL: Kindness can go a long way and should always be returned when it is possible.
